Airbnbs in San Diego

Of course, the city has more to offer than lazy days on the beach (although doesn’t that sound good?) With an incredible array of museums and markets, it is also a cultural hotspot and a foodie paradise. It’s also got some awesome music festivals throughout the entire year. You may end up wanting to spend a lot longer than you intended in this diversely exciting city! There’s so much to enjoy, and such a warm, welcoming culture and vibrant atmosphere. The appeals of San Diego go way beyond the attractions. For the best chance to immerse yourself in local life, stay at an Airbnb. For a unique experience of wilderness-living with city views, stay at this urban treehouse. It’s surrounded by trees, and there’s even an outdoor shower. It’s not for everyone. But with a wooden deck, comfortable furnishings, and a great deal of charm, it’s a steal. Especially because the best of Little Italy is just a short walk away.

Guest Review: “The treehouse was probably the most exciting accommodation I was staying at during my trip, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It was extremely cosy, and located very close to Little Italy, Downtown, and the airport. The aircraft flying over also provided some entertainment for me as I absolutely love planes, but they may be bothersome for someone prone to aircraft noise. That being said, the space is great value for money and Michael was very responsive to all my messages. I would definitely stay here again.”

After a luxurious stay with quirky touches? In this penthouse, you’ll find wine on tap, and a barber’s chair to relax in while you have a drink. Bright pops of color contrast with stylish, warm tones. The succulent-lined patio has incredible views over the city. And it’s sunset-facing!

One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is only accessible by outdoor stairs, and sits on the fifth floor. So, unfortunately, it’s not wheelchair accessible, and you may find it uncomfortable to reach.

Right in the heart of Little Italy, with tons to do close by. Guest Review: “We really loved the place and would love to stay here if we ever come back. The place was just like in the pictures shown, also so close to zoo and balboa park. It’s in a quiet and cute neighborhood. Most houses here are so cute n different with great outdoor appeal. We loved going for morning walks n loved the charm. Our stay was beyond perfect. My husband who has never been a fan of Airbnb was sold on the idea, after staying here. House was super clean with all the amenities we needed and there were special little touches in and around the house. Wolf was very prompt in responding and was super helpful when we wanted to keep our laptop there for a few hours. Communication from the time of booking to until after our stay was perfect. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s mildly OCD like me. It checks off all the boxes.”

Guest Review: “The penthouse at Sam’s place is lovely for a couple or a group of close friends, and is perfect for a stay in San Diego if you are planning on being close to the airport and downtown area such as the Gaslamp District, Balboa Park, etc. The penthouse suite felt much bigger than I was expecting, even based on the pictures, and I appreciated how well thought out the check-in process was – all directions to get to and into the house was included, from parking instructions to door codes to internet connectivity. I definitely liked not having to connect with someone for our stay, as it meant I didn’t have to worry about checking in at a specific time and could work it conveniently into my travel plans. Another thing I appreciated was that policies were stated clearly up front (such as not having full kitchen usage and “quiet hours” starting at 10pm), so we planned accordingly. It also ensured that I was able to find the perfect place for my stay, which required that we be up early on both mornings and thus needed to get to bed by around 10:00pm-11:00pm. The common areas are enormously spacious, and great for (as examples) ordering in take-out for a cozy dinner in, or waking up to watch a soccer game on the TV. The suite itself was lovely – I loved the bathroom space, which included a jacuzzi tub, and all of the light switches and controls for the fan and blinds were neatly and helpfully labeled along with instructions. The view was amazing and the proximity to good food, entertainment, and transportation was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend staying at Sam’s place if you are a low-maintenance traveler and prefer a quieter AirBnB.”

The cost to this place was just right! 3 tv’s, super large living room, where the family or friends can all watch tv together. Very large rooms and very spacious! Tif and Eugene were very fast in responding, and they actually let us check in a bit early which was a super plus!!!!
