This early Fall, Cyprus will become a temporary home for electronic music fans for the 3-day spectacle that is Beonix Festival! From September 22-24, a massive event with 50 world-leading giants of techno, house, trance, breakbeat, and other electronic music styles, performing on three stages several days in a row, will fill this idyllic island with life, color, sound, and positive vibes.
What is the best way to prepare for this event? Well, that is a major question for first-time visitor, but regular festival attendees such as myself are always ready and have some tips that will help you survive the Beonix music festival with maximum comfort.

Preparing For Beonix Festival
Devoted fans start packing and preparing long before the event (and booking airfare for overseas guests). I’d recommend getting your tickets purchased and hotel/accommodation booked ASAP – as those can be harder to secure as the dates get closer.
But here are a few of my tips for preparing to attend Beonix Festival!
Check the Line-Up
It is rare when you are already familiar with all of the announced performers, but if you do – congrats to you for being a devoted fan! There are so many artists on the line-up, so I’d suggest checking out their Spotify’s and Soundclouds so you have an idea of who you CAN’T miss!
So check the full lineup of BEONIX artists. It will save you time and make sure you spend it on the right stage when your favorite DJ’s are performing. Keep in mind though, that one of the best aspects of attending music festivals is discovering new music!
Also – be sure to get there early and support some of the local opening acts!

Get to Know the Area
Destination music festivals usually are held in some of the most picturesque parts of the town, and Beonix is no exception. Located in some of Limassol’s oldest wineries – which will be transformed and decorated for Beonix, making it a super unique venue experience.
Explore the venue’s infrastructure to know where to find the nearest exits, shops, taxi stops, and other helpful services and organizations. Then, in case you need anything, you will know where to look for it.
Typically, after your first day at the festival, you’ll know your way around – but it’s good to be prepared. I’d also recommend researching some of the top recommended restaurants and bars in the area.

Consider The Weather Aspect
Early Fall in Cyprus is still hot and sunny. The possibility of rain is almost zero, and the night temperature is about 27C. It means you must protect your skin from the evening sun rays and always stay hydrated. I’d recommend bringing a festival hydration pack as it’s one of the best ways to stay hydrated throughout the weekend!
Impressive & Comfortable Outfit
Music Festivals attract a lot of fashion lovers who are not ashamed of their unique and stunning outfits! However, the majority of the Beonix festival crowd prefers to wear simple clothes with bright and eye-catching elements, from neon bracelets to dazzling makeup.
While it is really fun to dress up, I would recommend focusing on comfort rather than fashion. You’ll be dancing your ass off in the heat, so you’ll want to be comfortable and well-prepared!

Festival Shoes
One of the most important aspects of attending a music festival is going to be lots of dancing – so be sure to pack the right pairs of shoes! So ladies – while high heels are always trendy and look fantastic, leave them behind as they’ll ruin your festival experience!

It’s best to stick sneakers or sports shoes, as they’ll provide the support your legs need to keep you dancing all weekend long
