10 Best Beach Clubs in Europe To Experience Before You Die

Beach Resorts, Beaches, Europe, Greece, Italy, Mykonos, Spain

Looking for the best beach clubs in Europe to soak up the sun, dance in the sand, and make your 2027 summer one to remember? Then look no further, because I’ve rounded up the ultimate list of European beach clubs that combine world-class DJs, jaw-dropping settings, and pure Mediterranean magic!

Europe’s beach club scene has exploded over the past few years, with venues now booking the same headline DJs you’d expect to see at a major festival. From the granite cliffs of Sardinia to the sands of Ibiza and beyond, these are the spots serious sun-seekers and music lovers are planning their entire summer around.

Whether you’re chasing sunset sets, day-to-night parties, or an old-school no-frills beach bar, this list has something for everyone. Let’s dive into the best beach clubs Europe has to offer in 2027!

1) Phi Beach Sardinia

Where: Baja Sardinia, Costa Smeralda, Italy

www.phibeach.com

Set into the granite rocks high above the water, Phi Beach has one of the most jaw-dropping sunset amphitheatre settings you’ll find anywhere in Europe.

Located on Sardinia’s glamorous Costa Smeralda, Phi Beach combines stunning Mediterranean views, crystal-clear water and an incredible open-air party atmosphere. The venue is built into the natural granite coastline, with multiple levels overlooking the sea and a legendary sunset that transitions into nights filled with international DJs, cocktails and dancing under the stars.

Phi Beach has actually been on my personal bucket list for years, ever since I lived in Italy. Somehow I never made it there, but every time I see photos of this place, it reminds me why Sardinia deserves to be right up there with Ibiza and Mykonos when it comes to Europe’s best beach club destinations.

2) Blue Marlin

Where: Cala Jondal, Ibiza, Spain

bluemarlinibiza.com

The original beachfront blueprint that helped define Ibiza’s legendary beach club scene.

Set along the beautiful Cala Jondal, Blue Marlin is one of those Ibiza spots that perfectly captures the island’s day-to-night energy. You can spend the afternoon lounging by the water, enjoying Mediterranean food and cocktails, before the atmosphere gradually turns into a proper party as the sun goes down. With a mix of house, Afro house and melodic sounds throughout the week, there’s always something happening.

For me, Blue Marlin is one of those places that feels essential to the Ibiza experience. The combination of the stunning cove, great music, stylish crowd and effortless island atmosphere makes it a must-visit whenever you’re looking to experience the classic Ibiza beach club lifestyle.

3) Alemagou

Where: Ftelia Beach, Mykonos, Greece

https://alemagou.gr/

Genuinely built right on the sand, Alemagou is one of Mykonos’ coolest spots for melodic house and techno.

Set directly on Ftelia Beach, Alemagou combines a beautiful, laid-back beach setting with great food, cocktails and an impressive lineup of underground electronic music. The rustic, bohemian feel makes it a little different from some of Mykonos’ more glamorous beach clubs, while the music and atmosphere keep things going well into the evening.

And I’ll admit, one of the biggest draws for me is the food. I absolutely LOVE Greek food, so being able to spend an afternoon eating fresh Greek dishes, drinking something cold and listening to great house and techno with my feet practically in the sand sounds pretty much perfect.

4) Sa Trinxa

Where: Ses Salines, Ibiza, Spain

https://satrinxa.com/

The last true old-school chiringuito left on the island, and a total contrast to everything else on this list.

Tucked into the beautiful Ses Salines beach, Sa Trinxa is all about keeping things simple: sand, sea, great music and that unmistakable bohemian Ibiza atmosphere. There are no VIP tables or massive productions here, just a relaxed beachfront setting, good food and drinks, and DJs creating the soundtrack while you soak up the Mediterranean.

This is the kind of Ibiza experience I love because it feels authentic. After all the huge clubs and glamorous beach venues, there’s something special about sitting barefoot on the beach with a drink in hand and watching the sunset with music playing in the background. It feels like a little piece of the old Ibiza that hasn’t disappeared.

5) Movida Beach Club

Where: Near Taormina, Sicily, Italy

https://movidabeachclub.com/lido/

One of Italy’s best-kept beach club secrets, and I don’t think it will stay that way for long.

Set along the beautiful Sicilian coastline near Taormina, Movida combines a relaxed Mediterranean beach setting with a serious love for electronic music. The backdrop is quintessential Sicily, with crystal-clear water, dramatic coastal scenery and the mountains and historic town of Taormina nearby. Add great food, cocktails and an increasingly impressive lineup of international DJs, and it’s easy to see why this spot is starting to get noticed.

Sicily has always felt a little underrated when it comes to European beach clubs, which is part of what makes Movida so appealing. You get the incredible Italian food, beautiful coastline and laid-back island atmosphere without quite the same level of hype you’ll find in Ibiza or Mykonos.

6) Kings Club

Where: Jesolo, near Venice, Italy

https://www.kingsclubjesolo.it/

A legendary Italian institution with decades of history and a seriously impressive beach club atmosphere.

Located in Jesolo on the Adriatic coast, Kings Club combines a relaxed seaside setting with the energy of a proper electronic music venue. While it’s technically riverside rather than directly on the beach, it has all the ingredients you’d want from a summer beach club: outdoor spaces, great music, cocktails and a beautiful Italian coastal backdrop.

I love that Kings Club has managed to maintain its character while still attracting some of the biggest names in electronic music. And being so close to Venice makes it an easy addition to a summer trip through northern Italy.

7) The Sundeck

Where: Margate, UK

Proof that you don’t need the Mediterranean to run a proper beach club — right on the sand with a massive Funktion One sound system.

Located directly on Margate’s sandy coastline, The Sundeck brings a proper beach club experience to the UK, with great electronic music, DJs and a lively atmosphere right by the sea. Its location alongside the local street food scene also makes it an easy place to spend an entire afternoon before settling in for sunset and dancing.

I love that The Sundeck feels like a little slice of Ibiza without actually leaving the UK. The combination of sand, sea, quality sound and underground house music makes this a really fun alternative to the usual Mediterranean destinations.

8) The Garden Resort Beach Bar

Where: Tisno, Croatia

https://www.thegardenproductions.com/venue/the-garden-resort

The beach arm of The Garden Resort, and the setting for some of the best music festivals in Croatia.

Set right on the Adriatic in the small coastal town of Tisno, The Garden Resort Beach Bar has become a favorite among Croatia’s electronic music crowd. It’s a beautiful, laid-back setting where crystal-clear water, pine trees and the Mediterranean atmosphere provide the backdrop for days spent swimming, drinking and dancing right on the sand.

I’ve always loved Croatia and its festival scene, so this is exactly the kind of beach club experience I look for. When the main stages wind down, the beach becomes the party, making it incredibly easy to go from festival mode straight into a sunset session by the sea.

9) Scorpios

Where: Paraga Beach, Mykonos, Greece

scorpiosmykonos.com

Perched above the Aegean and designed around the ancient Greek concept of an agora, Scorpios has become the most copied beach club blueprint in the Mediterranean.

Since opening in 2015, Scorpios has built its reputation on sunset gatherings that blend live music, wellness programming and DJ sets into one continuous flow from afternoon into night. It’s bohemian rather than bottle-service flashy, and that’s exactly why it’s spawned so many imitators across the region.

10) Ocean Club Marbella

Where: Marbella, Spain

A Costa del Sol institution built around one of the biggest, best-kept pool areas on this entire list.

Ocean Club leans into the day-club format harder than most – huge pool, cabanas, and a lineup of house and Balearic-leaning DJs that keeps the energy going from lunch through sunset. It’s a slightly more polished, family-friendly-by-day experience than some of the wilder entries on this list, which makes it a solid pick if you want beach club energy without a full-blown rave.
