3 Steps to Kill Festival Fomo at Primavera Sound 2026

Barcelona, Festival Reviews, Music Festivals, Spain, Uncategorized

Festival set time clashes: the ultimate down to a weekend spent on cloud down.

But have no fear. Check out my 3 Steps to Kill Festival Fomo at Primavera Sound 2026 and feel free to apply it to all major festivals full of terrific tunes, and let your worries slip away!

Be sure to check out my Primavera Sound 2026 Survival Guide to make it through the weekend. Keep reading for tips on how to lock down your streamlined festival schedule.

What keeps me coming back to Primavera Sound each year, aside from the sunshine, old friends, new friends, great vibes, proximity to my house, and longstanding relationship with the PR team… is the fact that the lineup annually has damn near 100 acts I’d like to see.

Now, not all of these are MUST sees for me, and many are groups I’m curious to check out, major pop acts I’d like to experience while they’re having their moment, or some that I’ve heard a song or two and would like to dig deeper.

This will be simply but effective, I promise. Here’s the process:

  1. Trawl through the set times and list out each act you’re even remotely keen to see for each day. Tag the (or in my case make a messy iPhone note) with the exact set times and stage (refer to this article for general layout of the Primavera Sound 2026 map and walking distances).
  2. Bold/highlight/itality/denote/whatever the acts you REALLY don’t want to miss. The ones that you bought the ticket for, or some new ones that you want to make sure to see.
  3. Trim the fat. Delete the acts that didn’t make the “elite tier” from step two, as well as those that clash. Does it spark joy? Quick decisions, people. Remember, you might end up walking by a set that draws you in and disregard your schedule entirely, which is honestly great. But right now we’re in organizing mode!!

That’s it. That’s my 3 Steps to Kill Festival Fomo at Primavera Sound 2026.

All that’s left to do is a classic: screenshot the final product for each day and make it your Lock Screen wallpaper, updating throughout the weekend. The Primavera Sound official app is great, but I prefer this method in order to really comb through the set times yourself. However, keep an eye on the official app as well as the Primavera Sound IG account for real-time schedule changes or news!

Primavera Bits

Pro tip: if you’re really feeling the FOMO and are still in the waitlist for Primavera Sound’s main festival dates, go ahead and get yourself a ticket to Primavera Bits. The festival’s dance music closing extravaganza features some of the biggest names in the business this year. Marathon set specialist Joseph Capriati, global dance floor connoisseur BLOND:ISH, and of course the king Carl Cox.

Get your tickets before they sell out here.

Good luck out there, you lovely rabble-rousers.
